CITE is working with several academic teams to help them create free online courses on topics that showcase the University’s distinctive strengths, such as Web Science. These ‘Massive Open Online Courses’ will be delivered by FutureLearn, a new company set up by the Open University that will offer MOOCs by many of the UK’s top universities. The list of courses will be announced in September, but you can register your interest now on the FutureLearn website to get priority access. If you would like to learn more about MOOCs, take a look at our overview article.
